RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — A man wanted in connection to a homicide on Midlothian Turnpike last Saturday surrendered to U.S. Marshals late Friday night
Richmond Police say 26-year-old Floyd E. Taylor was wanted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in relation to a fatal shooting at a hotel on Midlothian Turnpike last Saturday.
Officers were called to the 6300 block of Midlothian Turnpike a little after 5:30 p.m. on August 10 for reports of shots fired.
Arriving within two minutes, officers found 18 year old Zekei Johnson suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the hotel parking lot. Johnson died at the scene.
