CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WTVR) - Republican Ken Cuccinelli's gubernatorial campaign received a $500,000 dollar contribution this week.
Based on information from the Virginia Public Access Project, New York financial consultant Robert Mercer made the donation to the political action committee supporting Cuccinelli last week.
The Virginia Principles Fund is based in Chesapeake. This is the largest single cash donation of 2013 and one of the largest in 16 years.
