HENRICO, Va. (WTVR) - The Prince George woman whose children died after police said she left them in a hot car while she was working is out of jail.
Brittney Downing, 22, paid the $130,000 bond that was granted nearly one week ago.
She is charged with felony murder in the deaths of her 20-month-old son and 2-month-old daughter.
Police said Downing allegedly checked on the children in the car just once during her seven hour shift at a Glen Allen hotel. Both children later died of heat exhaustion.
