RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - A four-vehicle crash that involved two tractor trailers shut down Interstate 95 North for more than an hour Thursday morning.

Virginia State Police said the wreck happened just after 3 a.m. near the Bryan Park Interchange in Richmond.

Five people were taken to the hospital, according to police.

One of the tractor trailers was turned sideways blocking the interstate. A SUV with major damage to its rear fender was in a ditch on the side of highway.

All lanes of 95 North are back open, but crews remain on scene on the right shoulder.
