RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - A third member of the Virginia General Assembly is now calling for the governor to resign in the wake of reports he accepted loans and gifts from a political donor without reporting them.

Del. Scott Surovell (D - Fairfax) said Governor McDonnell should be forced out if he does not step down by the end of the week. Last week, Sen. Barbara Favola (D - Arlington) called for for McDonnell's resignation.

Senator Chap Petersen (D - Fairfax ) said the governor should return the items and provide and explanation or resign.
