RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – CBS 6 Storm Team Meteorologist Carrie Rose says occasional showers and storms will continue Monday and Tuesday.
However, there will be dry spells both days. It will be muggy and tropical-feeling, with daytime highs in the low to mid 80s.
Due to the high humidity and the slower movement of the storms, areas that see repeated storms today through Tuesday will have the potential to see very heavy rainfall, possibly in excess of three inches. As a result, there is a Flash Flood Watch in effect for all of central and eastern Virginia.
