There have been a lot of firsts for Josh Duggar, the oldest of the Duggar Family that is known world-wide for their large family of 19 children.
He is the first born to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, the first to marry and have kids–three as of this month–and is now the first to leave the tight-knit family and move out of state.
On Monday, it was announced Duggar will be joining the Family Research Council as executive director of their legislative branch, FRC Action.
The organization is known for it’s pro-life and pro-family beliefs stating “FRC Action is dedicated to preserving and advancing the interests of family, faith, and freedom in the political arena.”
This will not be the first political move for the Duggars, however. Patriarch Jim Bob Duggar served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1999 to 2002.
The Duggar family members are the center of TLC’s reality show, “19 Kids and Counting” following the life of the uniquely large family. Josh’s move to D.C. will include he, his wife, Anna, and their children Mackynzie, Micheal, and Marcus (born June 2nd).
