UPDATE: Police identify driver of fatal crash on I-95

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Virginia State Police identified 24-year-old Amber B. Duduk as the driver in a fatal crash on I-95 near Lombardy St. Saturday.

State police were called to the scene shortly after 3:00 p.m. after a 2002 Acura RSX ran off the left side of the roadway and struck the jersey wall.  The vehicle overturned and came to rest onto its roof.

According to State police, two people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. The passenger, 24-year-old Brittany A. Lawrence, was wearing her safety belt and suffered serious non-life threatening injuries.  She was transported to VCU Medical Center.

Duduk, the driver, was not wearing her safety belt and died at the scene.

The center and right lanes of I-95 northbound were closed for about three-and-a-half hours.  The lanes re-opened around 7:30 p.m.

Police said the crash remains under investigation.
