The Virginia Cavaliers won their 50th game of the season by beating Elon 11-3 to punch their ticket to the NCAA Super Regional.
Virginia Tech and William & Mary were eliminated from the tournament. The Hokies were defeated by Oklahoma 10-4 while the Tribe fell to the top seed N.C. State 9-2 in the Raleigh Regional.
The Flying Squirrels completed a three-game sweep of Erie with a 5-4 10 inning victory to gain a share of first place with the Seawolves in the Eastern League's East Division.
