(CNN) — The mother of rapper Andre 3000 has died, according to his publicist.
There are unconfirmed reports that Sharon Benjamin-Hodo was found dead in her metro-Atlanta home.
Benjamin-Hod was the founder of the Starlight Camp for underprivileged children, which she ran out of her husband’s church.
The family asked for continued support of the Starlight Camp in lieu of flowers.
