Virginia Tech lost the ACC Baseball Championship to UNC 4-1 but was selected to host a NCAA Regional for the first time.
The Virginia Cavaliers also will be playing at home during the first weekend. The Cavaliers will be a hosting a regional for the seventh time in school history and the fourth straight year.
