SUFFOLK, Va. (WTKR) — A fire and explosion destroyed a three-car garage in Suffolk Sunday night.
Firefighters were called after neighbors heard what sounded like an explosion and saw flames shooting up into the air.
While nearby homes didn’t suffer fire damage, the intense heat did blow out the windows on one home.
Additionally, one firefighter sustained minor injuries and is being treated at Sentara Obici Hospital.
The cause of fire remains under investigation.
