RICHMOND, Va.(WTVR)—Crews were dispatched Thursday evening to rescue two people from the James River, confirmed Lt. Robbie Hagaman.
Lt. Hagaman said that around 5:20 p.m., rescue crews were dispatched near Riverside Drive and 42nd Street, with reports of two people stranded on a rock in the James River.
Crews were putting in smaller boats and the rescue attempt is underway.
