RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – An approaching cold front will prompt showers and thunderstorms to form in central Virginia Saturday.
During the warmest part of the afternoon and early evening hours, when we have our greatest instability paired with the cold front’s arrival, we could see storm intensification.
Some storms may produce damaging wind gusts in excess of 60 mph and large hail. Any showers and storms will likely have frequent lightning and heavy rain, regardless.
