(WTVR) - Netflix customers are waking up Wednesday morning with fewer viewing options. Nearly 2,000 Netflix movies have disappeared from the online streaming service, reported Slate.com.
Joris Evers of Netflix told Slate the company sometimes chooses not to renew the licenses of less watched movies. He added some of the disappearing titles were part of a deal Netflix had with Epix.
Also on May 1, many Warner Bros. movies (which includes older films from MGM and United Artists) left Netflix. Those films are now available on the new Warner Archive Instant website.
