UPDATE: Detectives and the State Medical Examiner’s office determined the man died from an accidental overdose.
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Police discovered a dead body inside a car parked outside a West End Walmart Saturday. There were no “obvious signs of trauma,” said Henrico Police Lt. C.J. Maurice.
Police responded to a “suspicious situation” at the Parham Road Walmart near Regency Square mall about 2 p.m. Saturday. Callers reported a person in the car who was not moving.
Lt. Maurice said police continue to investigate and the man’s name would be released once family members were notified.
The State Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the man’s cause of death.
