RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - This October, nine students from the University of Richmond’s Department of Music will travel to Colombia, South America to participate in the 'Cartagena Festival’ of Orchestras and Youth. Dr. Joanne Kong, Coordinator of The University of Richmond’s Chamber Ensemble, and Cindy Jennings, Minister of Music at Church of the Redeemer tell us more. Flutist Katherine Cook and Harpist Audrey Kindsfather shared a selection.
