NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WTVR) -- A Richmond man is dead following a visit to see his sister in Newport News -- and police say she's responsible.
Police said 25-year-old Brian Garnett II was stabbed to death around 7 p.m. Sunday night in the 700 block of 21st Street in Newport News.
Police have charged 29-year-old Latoya Garnett in connection with the fatal stabbing.
Investigators said the siblings got into an argument just before before Garnett allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed her brother.
Brian was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
