WTVR – Allegations of hazing has caused a University of Virginia fraternity to be placed on suspension.

The Associated Press said on Friday the Lamda Chapter of Kappa Alpha Order was required to stop all fraternal activities, including an upcoming charity event.

The groups national organization is also putting a 30-day suspension in place.

School leaders say the length of the suspension hinges on the results of that open investigation.
