HENRICO, Va. (WTVR) — A Henrico family has to find a new place to live after an blaze broke out at their home Sunday morning.
Captain Mellon, with the Henrico Fire Department, said crews responded to the 2800 block of Dover Hunt Place around 9:25 a.m.
When firefighters arrived, they found a two-story home with heavy flames coming from two sides of the structure
Crews discovered that the fire was being fed by a gas leak from an outside gas meter that also ignited a wood fence also ignited, which allowed the fire to spread toward nearby houses.
No one was injured in the fire, which took crews about 20 minutes to knock down.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
