RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - Fire investigators are working to figure out what started an overnight fire at a building along the 1000 block of North Thompson St. in the West End of Richmond.
A section of Thompson St. between Cutshaw Ave. and Monument Ave. remained closed to traffic at 6:00 a.m.
Richmond Fire Department spokesman Lt. Robbie Hagaman said the fire call came in shortly before 3:00 a.m. The fire in the two-story building was marked under control by 3:20 a.m.
No one was inside the building when firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported in this fire.
