Investigators rule Sunday’s Accomack fire an arson

ACCOMACK COUNTY, Va. (WTKR) – State police were called to another fire in Accomack County on Sunday evening. Nearly 80 fires have been set on the Eastern Shore since mid-November.

The call came in around 9:16 p.m. of a fire in the 24400 block of Drummondtown Road.

A two story wood structure that was located off of the road was burned.  There were no injuries reported.  This fire has been ruled arson.

Virginia State Police and Accomack Sheriff’s Department continue to ask the public to provide any tips and/or information to the HOTLINE at (757) 655-1437.

There continues to be a $25,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the arsonist.
