RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - My pick to be outdoors this weekend is Saturday! It will be a fantastic day with mostly sunny skies and highs around 60° in central Virginia. It would be a great day for an Easter Egg hunt!
A storm system will approach the area on Easter Sunday, bringing a pretty good chance of rain to most of the state. Easter Sunday sunrise time is 6:56 a.m. Showers will begin early in the day in western and southwestern Virginia, and will spread east through the remainder of the Commonwealth by late morning and afternoon.
