PETERSBURG, Va. (WTVR)--Petersburg Police are investigating a shooting.
Shortly after 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, a man was shot to death in the 500 block of Shore Road in Petersburg.
Police Chief Dixon told CBS 6 that the victim was shot multiple times.He was transported to Southside Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect is still at large.Police say they are looking for a person of interest in the case: Charles Rankins.
