(CNN) — Betty White’s “Hot In Cleveland” is giving “Mary Tyler Moore” fans a special opportunity to see the cast together once again.
TV Land announced Friday that their original series will host Mary Tyler Moore, Cloris Leachman and Valerie Harper on an upcoming episode. The news that the actresses are going to get together on TV again is likely particularly poignant in light of Harper’s recent cancer diagnosis.
“In the episode, Elka (White) and Mamie Sue (Georgia Engel) decide to get their bowling team back together, aptly named GLOB: the Gorgeous Ladies of Bowling,” the TV Land announcement says. “The team, which includes Elka, Mamie Sue, Diane (Moore), Peg (Leachman) and Angie (Harper), had a falling out decades ago after their championship season went to their heads.”
Although Moore’s previously guest starred on “Hot In Cleveland,” having appeared in a season two episode, the upcoming reunion will be the first one in more than 30 years for the former castmates.
The summer season of “Hot In Cleveland” returns to TV Land on June 19 at 10 p.m. ET.
