CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – A family’s home was vandalized and then set on fire in a Chesterfield neighborhood.
Chesterfield police tell us around 4:25 a.m. Friday morning a racial slur was spray painted on two sides of the home. Then the porch, as well as the resident’s car, was set on fire.
The estimated amount of damages come to a total of $6,000. $5,000 in damages to the car and $1,000 in damages to the structure.
There is no suspect information at this time but Chesterfield Police have been canvassing the neighborhood looking for answers.
