RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)—Virginia wine isn’t the only libation experiencing smashing success and spirited growth in the state, with craft breweries bubbling up everywhere.
So it seems about time that Carytown host their first ever Carytown Craft Beer Festival.
Similar to the Carytown Wine Festival that pairs regional wine with local food, the Carytown Craft Beer Festival will feature 20 Virginia craft brews paired with food from Carytown restaurants.
The festival will be held on Sunday, April 14 from noon to 6 p.m. in the Cary Court Shopping Center, in the 3100 block of Cary Street.
Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the gate. Tickets include a souvenir pint glass and craft beer tasting. On the Facebook page, it states that samples are included in the ticket price.
Additional 16 oz. pours will be available for $5 each. The participating restaurants may offer free samples of signature items and will have small plates available for $5-$8.
A designated driver entry price for $10 will be offered.
