RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - James Farrior may be best known as a Pittsburgh Steelers Linebacker, but he also works tirelessly to tackle Sickle Cell Anemia. The James Farrior Foundation has once again teamed up with VCU Medical Center to raise money and awareness for this disease. Dr. India Sisler, from VCU Medical Center and Matt Farrior, Vice President of the Farrior Foundation share the details.
Their event is Saturday, March 9th at the Westin Hotel from 7 pm to 11 pm.
