RICHMOND, VA (WTVR): Don't' miss Richmond's Stars as they dance for a good cause. The 3rd annual Dancing with the Richmond Stars is set for Friday, March 1, 7pm at W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts.
Ten local celebrities have been chosen for a friendly dance competition to benefit the Traumatic Brian Injury and Concussion Clinic at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU. The Stars include two members of the VCU family, John Duval, CEO, MCV Hospital, VCU Health System & Charles Dillard, MD, Director of Traumatic Brian Injury and Concussion Clinic. Over the last two years the event has raised more than $135,000 for Children's Hospital Foundation.
Kat Simons of Lite 98 has emcee duties and a panel of celebrity judges will have the task of selecting the winner. But everyone wins because children in our community will benefit most of all. To see who the other Richmond Dancers are and to purchase tickets log onto www.richmondstars.org.
