HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) -- Three people have been detained on I-64 in connection with a robbery in Henrico County Wednesday afternoon.
Henrico police said they received a call around 2:55 p.m. that a person has been robbed at the intersection of Falconbridge Drive and Pump Road.
There has been no exact word yet on what was stolen, but a vehicle spotted near the robbery was later pulled over on I-64 East near Glenside Drive.
Henrico Police Lt. Linda Toney said the three suspects are being detained.
The interstate was closed for a short time while the suspects were removed from the vehicle, but the interstate is back open.
Officials said the suspects did not try to elude police and that no pursuit took place.
