CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - Chesterfield fire investigators are trying to determine what caused an overnight house fire near Manchester High School.
The fire broke out around 2 a.m. Wednesday morning inside a home in the 6000 block of Walking Path Lane, in the Cameron Bay subdivision.
Firefighters arrived on scene and found the home fully engulfed in flames.
One man was in the home at the time, but he was able to make it out okay.
Chesterfield Fire Battalion Chief Mark Berry says two nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution, but residents have since been allowed back inside.
