HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - A mother accused of stuffing her newborn baby in a clothes dryer will face felony charges. A judge made the decision Monday morning that Angela Janecka can be prosecuted with attempted murder and felony child neglect.
Her case now moves to a grand jury.
Prosecutors said Janecka's husband found the baby tied up in a plastic bag inside the dryer of their Henrico townhouse in Sept. 2012. The newborn survived the ordeal.
