CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) -- Crews are investigating a fire inside a shopping center on the 7000 block of Hull Street Road.
Captain Brian Kemp says a call came in around 9:40 p.m. from a passerby and that fire units arrived at 9:43 p.m. Sunday.
Smoke and flames were coming through the roof of Reliable Tax Solutions when crews arrived on scene. Nearby stores suffered some smoke damage as well. Richmond Fire was also called to the scene to help assist.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters say it could be several days before the businesses reopen. While they have left the scene, police remain outside the shopping center to prevent looting.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
