HENRICO COUNTY, VA (WTVR) – People across the nation, including many in Central Virginia, wore red on Friday in honor of the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” day.
The campaign’s goal is to remind people that heart disease is the number one killer for women and that there are steps you can take to have a healthier heart.
And adults weren’t the only ones wearing red in our area on Friday. Volunteers knitted red hats and blankets for the newborns at Bon Secours’ hospitals to wear in honor of “Go Red for Women” day. Check out the precious photos below.
