(WTVR) - Virginia is working to attract more retirees, and it seems to be working.
Wall Street Journal's Market Watch named Virginia a hot spot for "half backs." A Half back is a term used to describe a retiree originally from the North who moved to Florida but decided they didn't like it, so they traveled halfway back up the coast to settle.
The most popular city for half-back retirees is Virginia Beach. Roanoke, Winchester, and Charlottesville also made the list.
