CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) —  The case against a man accused of shooting a mother — and her two sons — will go forward.

Charges against Michael Williams were certified to a grand jury Wednesday.

Police said Williams shot the victims in their home on Timsberry Terrace on Thanksgiving of 2011.

Officers captured Williams before he could run out the back door.

Police said the shooting was domestic in nature.
