RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) – All lanes are back open on 95 South after emergency repairs closed multiple lanes. Backups still exist.
A shifted bridge plate caused crews to shut down lanes at the Boulevard (mile marker 78) around 7:30am this morning, December 4th.
The right and center lanes were closed. Crews have adjusted the plate.
VDOT expected the work to take at least 1-2 hours to complete. It took about an hour and a half. You can continue avoiding the are by using Route 1/301, 295 or Broad Street.
