RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Volunteers spent the day on Saturday serving food to those who missed their Thanksgiving meal on Thursday.
The Jeremiah Memorial Foundation was in Monroe Park giving hundreds of people items of clothing and a Thanksgiving meal. The foundation was founded last December in honor of the founder, Kevin Starlings father who recently passed away.
He says he wanted to carry on his father's memory and says those they are helping are grateful for the support they're receiving.
The foundation plans to hold multiple events, like this one, every year.
