A brand spankin’ new cookbook will smack the shelves, just in time for the holiday season.
Fifty Shades of Chicken: A parody in a cookbook will have cooks “dominating dinner.” You don’t have to be a fan of the best-selling kinky trilogy by E.L. James to appreciate the finger-licking good recipes and hilarious storyline.
The cookbook will be sure to tantalize with entrees such as Dripping Thighs, Sticky Chicken Fingers, Vanilla Chicken, Chicken with a Lardon, Bacon-Bound Wings, Spatchcock Chicken, Learning-to-Truss-You Chicken, Holy Hell Wings, Mustard-Spanked Chicken, and more (more, more)!
An excerpt from Amazon indicates that the story line is a parody in three acts with each act suited for different culinary skill levels, chronicles the adventures of Miss Chicken and a chef.
Ms. Hen is at the mercy of a very hungry chef, Mr. Blades, and throughout the cookbook she discovers the sheer thrill of becoming the main course.
The cookbook releases Nov. 13, and the author, FL Fowler, remains unidentified.
A September article in People magazine identifies Fowler as “an established food industry professional” who wants to remain anonymous. The author told People:
“I’ve been developing recipes for years. But this is the first time I’ve ever delved into this dark, forbidden side of poultry preparation,” explains the writer. “And when it comes to sexing up a family dinner, a little privacy can be a good thing.
