UPDATE: VCU sent out a second text message, advising that the subject had been located.
The text message read: “Subject located. Situation resolved. Resume normal activity”

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – VCU sent an alert message out Tuesday morning warning students and staff about an “armed subject” on the MCV campus.
The alert, sent at 8:35 this morning mentioned the Lyons Dental Bldg. and said the suspect was last seen wearing a red/gray stocking cap and a green jacket.
The alert cautioned people to avoid the area and that VCU Police were on scene.
