Record-breaking flooding in Manhattan’s Battery Park

Widespread flooding is being reported across New York City, especially coastal areas. 

This is a shot of Battery Park in lower Manhattan where the tide has already risen to 13.88 feet.
 

Sandy is no longer a hurricane but it still packing a hurricane-sized punch. 

It knocked out power to millions of residents across 11 states and the District of Columbia. 

In Northern Virginia, Dominion customers reported over 100,000 outages.
