RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Comcast wants to help you out if you want the internet at home, but cannot afford it.

For the second straight year, the cable provider is teaming up with Richmond Public Schools to provide low-cost internet service for low-income families.

Comcast said while we’ve increasingly become a digital nation, many low-income families have been left behind because they don’t have money for internet service at home.

You’re eligible to participate if you have at least one child in the free school lunch program. You also cannot currently have Comcast internet service — or owe the company money.
