RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR) – Richmond police are trying to figure out who damaged the football field at Thomas Jefferson High School.
Police said someone drove onto the field in their car Tuesday and did doughnuts in the grass. To make matters worse, the field had just been aerated and re-sodded to make it look like new.
Over the weekend, there was a similar act of vandalism at J.R. Tucker High School in Henrico. Police caught that suspect a short time later.
Anyone with information about the latest case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
