PORTLAND, OR (KOIN) – A 14-year-old girl was arrested for driving under the influence in Portland.
Fifty-one-year-old Stephan Hardy was the only adult in the Dodge Caravan that rolled over on Interstate 5 Monday around 3:30 a.m.
Washington State Patrol said the 14-year-old Portland girl, whose identity is not being released, was behind the wheel when the accident happened.
The teen was charged with DUI, being a minor in possession of alcohol and not having a driver's license.
Additionally, authorities said a 16-year old girl, who was also in the car, is not facing any charges.
Both girls were taken to the hospital and were later released. Hardy was also hurt, but refused to be transported to the hospital.
Hardy has not been charged and DMV records show he has a suspended license because of prior violations.
Washington State Patrol said the case is still under investigation.
