RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Three men were killed in three separate shootings across Central Virginia Sunday. Police are still investigating all shootings - which do not appear related.
Just before midnight Sunday, a man was shot and killed in Richmond's Oak Grove neighborhood, according to an email from Richmond Police. Police spokeswoman Karla Peters said officers were called to the 2400 block of Ingram Avenue at 11:27 p.m. Sunday.
There they found the shooting victim - a man described to be in his late 40s or early 50s. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Peters said. No information about a suspect nor a motive was released.
Earlier Sunday, Richmond Police were called to the Hillside Court community - where another man was shot and killed. That man, who police identified as 37-year-old Andre Seward, was found around 4 a.m. on Lone Street.
And a death investigation continued in Henrico County where police were called to investigate a "suspicious death." Police were called to the Dumbarton/Lakeside area of the West End around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. There, in the 3000 block of Kenwood Avenue, off Hilliard Road, they found an adult male unresponsive with a chest wound.
