RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Attorney's for Elias Webb have filed an alibi notice in the case for the killing of Lanie Kruszewski in July. CBS 6 legal analyst Todd Stone thinks it's a move to preserve Webb's right to testify in the case. There are still some necessary pieces of evidence that need to be revealed. Lab work on Webb's car, which was found with blood and hair on the hood, could come back as a negative result for Kruszewski's DNA. Todd Stone thinks that the vagueness of the alibi indicates that the attorneys will probably argue that Webb in fact hit a deer that night, and therefore could not have been at the crime scene.
