The tallest dog ever has quite a name to live up to; Zeus.
Zeus recently placed in the Guinness World Records. At three-years-old he stretches, on his hind legs, to an impressive 7’4” and weighs about 155 pounds.
He’s 44 inches tall when on all fours.
He towers over his owner Denise Doorlag, but she doesn’t mind. Nor does she seem to care about the lifestyle accomodations Zeus requires.
She said that she had to get a van to transport him around. “The only downside is that everything costs more; the food, medicines, transport,” said Doorlag.
And when she says food, she means a 30-lb bag of food every two weeks, and about 12 cups a day.
The previous record-breaking dog was Giant George, and he was just an 1-inch shorter than Zeus.
