Fourteen year old Andrew Karo decided to do something to raise awareness and funds for Pancreatic Cancer after learning that his friends dad was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Together with friends from St. Christopher’s, St. Catherine’s and Collegiate they planned the Inaugural Pancreatic Cancer Walk have raised over seventy thousand dollars and hope to raise more.
You can join in the effort, support Andrew and his fellow classmates and The Inaugural Richmond Pancreatic Walk in honor of Brad Tazewell. The walk is Saturday September 15, registration is at 8:30 and the walks starts at 10:30 on the campus of St. Christopher’s School. Walkers will have a choice of a 1 or 3 mile route, all routes are handicap and stroller accessible, pets are not allowed.
