RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – This morning, September 10, is our coolest morning since June featured multiple morning lows in the 50s. The last time Richmond International Airport reported a low temperature sub-60 degrees was on June 27, 2012 with a low of 57 degrees. The previous date, June 26 had a low of 59 degrees. That means this morning was our coolest since late June! The previous stretch of multiple mornings in a row of 50swas June 15 through 18, 2012. The next several mornings will be in the 50s while dew point temperatures remain in the 40s and low 50s. This dry air will certainly seem like a pleasant Fall preview! The Autumnal Equinox is in less than two weeks.
