Northside shooting sends man to hospital
RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Richmond police are investigating a shooting Friday afternoon in the city’s Northside.
Richmond police’s Gene Lepley said officers were called to the 1900 block of Glenlea Avenue, which is near Whitcomb Street, around 10:50 a.m..
Police found a man in the street who has been shot. Police sources told CBS 6 News that the man was shot in the head.
The victim was taken to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
